Some of our divers are stepping onto a board for the first time. Others are training for high school, college or competitive meets. Atlantic Diving Team has programs for different ages, experience levels and goals.
Our coaches teach the skills step by step, encourage athletes to work safely and help them enjoy the progress they make at practice.

MEET COACH PITO
Director / Head Coach
Coach Osvaldo “Pito” Alberty has spent decades around diving pools, first as an athlete and later as a coach. He works with divers who are just getting started as well as those training for competition.
Coach Pito was one of Puerto Rico’s top divers and qualified for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. After a life-changing battle with Guillain-Barré syndrome in 1995, his journey in the sport continued through coaching and athlete development.

“Coach Pito and his Atlantic Diving Team is a wonderful and safe place for athletes of all ages to flourish. Our daughter wanted to “try” diving for high school after being a competitive club team swimmer for 7 years. Coach Pito encouraged her from day one and has supported her growth each and every year since. His experience and patience paid off as she made it to HS States in only a year and 1/2 of training with him and the Team.
