The Atlantic Diving Team (ADT) is a year-round, privately run, lessons and competitive Springboard and Platform Diving Team. The Atlantic Diving Team is a certified USA Diving & AAU Junior, Senior and Master Diving Program. The goal of our program is to teach athletes lifelong skills including discipline, self-confidence, and team work as well as providing the opportunity to compete and advance in the sport of diving. The ADT is always searching for enthusiastic kids ages 5 & up for the opportunity to learn the art of springboard and platform diving.
Divers in our program start by learning the most basic skills necessary to progress to harder, more complex dives. As the skill level increases so do self-confidence! Discipline is essential for divers to learn the skill needed to successfully complete new dives and continue to progress. Each diver will have the opportunity to learn sportsmanship and team work as this is a key ingredient to becoming a great athlete.
All lessons and practices are supervised by USA Diving & AAU Certified Coaches. All coaches have had background checks and are constantly advancing their skills to bring out the best in our divers and themselves.
ADT members share a passion and dedication for their sport; they compete at USA Diving and AAU meets, High School Diving meets, and at USA Diving (Regional, Zone & National meets) and AAU National meets. Leading the ADT is Olympic Coach Osvaldo Pito Alberty and he brings his knowledge to the pool deck and introduce the young kids the sport of diving and develop the next generation of divers and champions.
