We are a year-round, privately run, lessons and competitive Springboard and Platform Diving Team located at Sailfish Splash Waterpark in stuart, FL. The Atlantic Diving Team is a certified USA Diving & AAU Junior, Senior and Master Diving Program. The goal of our program is to teach athletes lifelong skills including discipline, self-confidence, and team work as well as providing the opportunity to compete and advance in the sport of diving. ADT is always welcoming enthusiastic boys and girls ages 5 & up, all levels and abilities for the opportunity to learn springboard and platform diving.
Divers in our program start by learning the most basic skills necessary to progress to harder, more complex dives. As a divers skill level increases so does their self-confidence! Discipline is essential for divers to learn the skill needed to successfully complete new dives and continue to progress. Each diver will have the opportunity to learn sportsmanship and team work as this is a key ingredient to becoming a great athlete.

Leading the Atlantic Diving Team is Olympic Coach Osvaldo Pito Alberty and he brings his knowledge to the pool deck and introducing the young kids to the sport of diving and develop the next generation of divers and champions. But there was a time not long ago when Coach Pito was a magician in midair.
He could spring from a one-meter and three-meter diving board as well as a 10-meter platform and do flips, somersaults and twists before making a silky entry into the water, legs straight and toes pointed. He was one of the best divers in his native Puerto Rico and qualified for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
Unfortunately, a year before the Games, Coach Pito started experiencing flu-like symptoms, a high fever and muscle weakness. Within a week he was paralyzed from the neck down, a victim of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS).
Since being struck down with GBS in 1995 coach pito work hard to become the ADT Director/Head Coach in 1999, cted from his coaches and all over the world to the new upcoming divers.
