Qualification Meet Information

AAU Red/White/Blue Nationals: Spring diving opportunity for J.O. divers. Divers qualify by attending one of the 6 national qualification events. If they place top 6 in their age group, they go to represent their area of the country in the competition. Red is the West coast, White is the middle and Blue is the East coast.

RWB Top 6 divers in each event qualify for the Red-White-Blue National Diving Championship. Should a top 6 diver decline to attend, the 7th place diver will be invited to attend and so on. Divers who qualify in a springboard event automatically qualify for the Red-White-Blue Platform event. Divers who ATTEND the Red-White-Blue National Diving Championships will be outfitted.

AAU Summer National Championship meet: The next highest priority. Divers may qualify for the AAU national championships by earning a minimum event total score at any meet throughout the year. Divers who attend more invitational meets, have more opportunities to get their AAU qualifying score.

Note: Proof of qualifying scores may be required at the meet site. Divers or coaches should bring qualifying dive sheets plus meet results available for proof of performance.
