The Atlantic Diving Team Foundation was created to enhance the Atlantic Diving Team program and support athletes. We provide diving opportunities for children and young adults while inspiring athletes in a safe and nurturing environment. Additionally, we aim to assist families facing financial challenges, enabling their children to engage in this thrilling sport. Our mission is centered on achieving excellence in both springboard and platform diving.
We are dedicated to enhancing awareness, safety, and enjoyment for our athletes by fostering the development of future divers, champions, and Olympians. Our organization provides essential support, including uniforms and assistance for athletes participating in competitions at various levels, such as Zones, National, and International events. Additionally, we organize local diving meets, promote diverse events, and supply high-quality equipment to ensure the ongoing growth and safety of our athletes.
The Atlantic Diving Team Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization dedicated to reinvesting all funds collected from fees and donations back into our programs. Each year, we provide financial assistance to athletes who qualify for competitions such as Zones, National, and International events. However, we are currently facing significant financial challenges due to rising costs associated with the pandemic, maintenance, equipment replacement, and repairs. While many organizations have opted to increase their fees, we have made a concerted effort to keep our fee hikes minimal to ensure that families and athletes continue to receive the same high-quality experience. We understand that many families are already stretched thin, especially when it comes to travel expenses, and we recognize that our current approach may not be sustainable in the long term.
